Welcome to our colorful world!

We are the Aurora Masquerade Foundation, a recently established organization located in Calgary, Alberta. Our goal is to host masquerade gala fundraisers for charities that aid marginalized communities throughout Canada.

Our organization is committed to supporting all marginalized communities. As we embark on our inaugural event, a Venetian Masquerade themed celebration, we focus on uplifting the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and their allies. This event marks the beginning of our journey, with each year bringing new themes and initiatives, supporting diverse causes that benefit marginalized groups.

Masquerades have historically been symbols of both festivity and advocacy. In Venice, masks were more than tradition; they represented equality and personal freedom. By masking their identities, participants transcended social barriers, creating spaces of complete inclusivity. This tradition mirrors the ongoing journey of the 2SLGBTQQIA+ community, where the freedom to express one's true self isn't always assured.

In today's challenging environment, where misinformation and divisive actions can affect marginalized groups, our commitment to supporting the 2SLGBTQQIA+ community remains steadfast. We strive to provide meaningful support, drawing inspiration from the Venetian masquerade's spirit of inclusivity and equality.

Join us in our journey. Embrace the mask, support the cause, and anticipate more events to come. Together, we can make a difference, expanding our support and advocacy for marginalized communities with each successive masquerade.
